What you'll do

• Operate a blade to achieve specified grading
• read grade stakes and work with a grade checker, laser, or GPS to maintain grade
• coordinate with crew members using hand signals
• inspect and maintain equipment, including fluid checks and lubrication
• report equipment maintenance needs
• clean equipment and prepare it for transport
• maintain jobsite order and safety
