Cloud Engineer (Junior)

The Cloud Engineer (Junior) role is onsite in Springfield, VA. Compensation is $135,000–$147,500 per year. The role supports GRVTY’s Common Operations Release Environment (CORE) team, which provides cloud solutions to clients and supports national security missions. This engineer maintains and improves cloud infrastructure and automated deployment processes, helping ensure platform services operate securely and reliably across development, test, and production environments.

What you'll do

• Maintain and improve CI/CD build and deployment processes
• integrate enterprise authentication services
• improve infrastructure, including autoscaling and cost efficiencies
• aggregate server logs and monitor security incidents and system performance
• maintain software revisions, patches, hardening, and documentation
• support security and reliability practices
• follow up on operational engineering tasks
• participate in SAFe and Scrum teams
• provide required on-call support.
