Job overview

The Vice President, East Region Development role is based in Boulder, CO, with a hybrid schedule preferred and remote arrangements potentially considered. The target base salary is $240,000–$265,000 per year, negotiable for the right candidate. The role leads development of Scout Clean Energy’s U.S. East Region renewable energy projects through mid- to late-stage development. The vice president leads the regional development team and oversees project delivery, portfolio strategy, budgets, risk, contracts, and cross-functional coordination. The role exists to advance profitable renewable energy projects through development milestones while aligning regional execution with Scout’s business plan.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop the East Region team
• oversee project and portfolio budgets, timelines, risk frameworks, contractor strategy, and contract approvals
• guide project handoffs and cross-functional processes
• support permitting, tax, studies, interconnection, and design reviews
• coordinate with Finance, M&A, Real Estate, Procurement, Construction, Operations, and other teams
• present decision-ready materials to executives.

Why this role

Hybrid schedule in Boulder is preferred, with at least four office days per week when not traveling; remote arrangements may be considered, with presence in Boulder two weeks per month at minimum. Travel as needed.
