Activities Assistant — Part-Time is an onsite role in Fincastle, VA, paying $15 per hour. The schedule is part-time with eight-hour shifts, weekdays and weekends, rotating weekends and holidays. The assistant reports to the Director of Activities and supports resident activities at Brian Center of Fincastle.

What you'll do

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities
• prepare and clean activity areas
• create decorations and crafts
• help schedule movies, parties, games, and other activities
• maintain activity supplies
• escort residents to activities and transport them to offsite functions in the facility van
• visit residents unable to participate
• assist with care plans and assessments
• document attendance and resident responses
• interview residents or family members for activity information
• and supervise and schedule volunteers as directed.
