The Electromechanical Maintenance Technician, Medical Devices role is onsite in Columbus, NE. Compensation is $70,000–$75,000 per year. The technician supports equipment and engineering work in a medical device manufacturing environment. The role exists to keep electronic and mechanical equipment reliable and support production quality, safety, and continuous improvement. It combines troubleshooting and preventive maintenance with equipment installation and qualification support, control-panel work, operator training, and collaboration with engineering and parts teams.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• perform preventive maintenance
• maintain spare-parts inventory
• support equipment installation, qualifications, and upgrades
• participate in continuous improvement
• test and repair electronic circuits
• maintain control-panel wiring and assist with PLC ladder-logic adjustments
• train operators and assist with machine setups
• coordinate with tool room and central crib teams
• propose and review design changes with engineers. Be available for off-shift call-ups and overtime as needed.
