Medication Technician

What you'll do

• Assist with administering prescribed medications according to protocols
• maintain medication records, including dosage, administration time, and observed reactions or side effects
• collaborate with healthcare providers about resident concerns and medication management
• monitor residents and report significant changes
• manage medication inventory, ordering, stocking, disposal, counts, and medication passes
• educate residents and families about medication regimens, potential side effects, and adherence
• follow applicable policies and protect resident confidentiality.
