CNC Steel Processing Machine Operator

What you'll do

• Set machine controls and operating settings
• identify steel type, stock size, and dimensions from job specifications
• measure materials
• mark steel components
• monitor CNC cutting, drilling, and processing equipment and adjust settings
• perform preventive maintenance and assist with troubleshooting
• record production and material usage
• move steel using overhead cranes, conveyors, and material transfer equipment
• maintain a clean work area and follow safety procedures.
