The Collections Specialist works onsite at TruStone Financial Credit Union’s Burnsville, MN administrative office, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. The salary range is $19.40–$24.00 per hour. TruStone is a member-owned credit union focused on helping members achieve lifelong financial well-being. The specialist follows up on potentially delinquent or delinquent loan and Visa accounts, determines the reasons for delinquency, and works with members on plans to bring accounts current or minimize losses. The role supports responsible account resolution and member service.

What you'll do

• Contact members by phone, letter, or in-person appointment regarding delinquent loans and Visa accounts
• determine reasons for delinquency
• develop and implement mutually agreeable plans to bring loans or accounts current or minimize losses
• prepare professional correspondence
• follow applicable collection policies, procedures, laws, and regulations
• comply with Bank Secrecy Act requirements.
