This part-time position provides practical exposure to law enforcement operations and supports department divisions through administrative, operational, training, and community-engagement tasks. Assignments may rotate to build a broad understanding of department operations and prepare candidates for future opportunities.

What you'll do

• Provide administrative and operational support in assigned Police Department divisions
• assist with records management, filing, data entry, and report preparation
• support training activities as a role player and with equipment setup
• assist with community events and crime prevention programs
• conduct vehicle inspections and help maintain equipment and facilities
• assist with authorized non-sworn activities such as booking, fingerprinting, and tow releases
• protect confidential information and follow department policies.
