Assembler and Equipment Operator — Second Shift

The Assembler and Equipment Operator — Second Shift role is fully onsite in Delaware, OH. Starting pay is $23 per hour plus a $0.75 shift differential. The schedule is Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM, with first-shift training for 2–4 weeks. Wieland manufactures, processes, and distributes copper and copper alloy products for industries including power, automotive, construction, refrigeration, and electronics. The operator prepares and assembles components to drawings and procedures while meeting quality and safety standards. The role supports production of pressure vessels and heat exchangers, maintains equipment, and contributes ideas to improve efficiency and quality.

What you'll do

• Follow production orders, procedures, and supervisor directions
• prepare parts and assemble components using power tools or specialized equipment
• prepare parts through grinding, blasting, and metal cutting
• meet quality and safety standards
• perform preventative maintenance as instructed
• propose methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency or quality.

Why this role

High school diploma or GED is required. The role requires physical labor, lifting up to 50 pounds, and use of standard hand and power tools. Training is on first shift for 2–4 weeks.
