The Director, Commercial Excellence role is hybrid, with the preferred work location in Berkeley Heights, NJ, or client sites three days a week; candidates in other listed major metro areas may work from local Axtria offices and/or client sites three days a week. The annual salary range is $157,600–$205,425 for the Berkeley Heights primary work location, with geographic adjustments possible. Axtria provides AI, cloud software, and data analytics solutions for the life sciences industry. The director leads client-facing commercial excellence work, translating business objectives into AI-, data-, and analytics-driven solutions. The role owns projects across commercial operations, develops executive recommendations, manages client relationships and delivery, builds teams, and contributes to thought leadership and practice growth.

What you'll do

• Understand client business context and identify unmet needs
• translate objectives into AI-, data-, and analytics-driven solutions
• break down complex problems into requirements and actions
• lead commercial operations projects, including incentive compensation, go-to-market strategy, field force design, segmentation, targeting, alignment, call planning, reporting, sales effectiveness, and analytics
• deliver executive presentations and recommendations
• manage concurrent projects and client satisfaction
• coach and develop teams
• contribute to hiring and thought leadership.
