What you'll do

• Unload incoming shipments using a forklift, overhead crane, or pallet jack
• verify shipments against purchase orders and shipping documents
• document discrepancies and damage
• inspect materials and route required quality documents
• enter transactions into ERP or inventory systems
• label and stage materials
• operate material-handling equipment safely
• coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Quality
• maintain receiving records
• participate in inventories
• keep dock and staging areas organized
• follow safety and PPE procedures
• assist with outbound staging or shipping as needed.
