Warehouse Associate, Receiving & Centralized Distribution

Job overview

The Warehouse Associate, Receiving & Centralized Distribution role is onsite in San Francisco, CA. Compensation is $20.00 per hour. The Downtown warehouse receives high-volume shipments and distributes products to Cole Hardware’s five stores. The role supports accurate, timely product receiving and distribution by checking shipments, maintaining records, routing merchandise, and keeping receiving and trash areas organized. It also assists with stocking, sales-floor work, and store services as needed.

What you'll do

• Receive and inspect products for shortages, overages, damage, and quality
• compare shipments with packing slips, invoices, or orders
• report discrepancies
• maintain invoice files and receiving records
• coordinate shipping and delivery with the buying team and store management
• follow pricing and tagging procedures
• route products to departments or storage areas
• operate pallet jacks and hand trucks safely
• assist with sales-floor work, stocking, and store services
• maintain cleanliness and safety.

Why this role

Must be able to work 4:30 a.m. shifts at least twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of receiving experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience; lift up to 50 lbs.
