General Service / Tire Technician

Job overview

General Service / Tire Technician is an onsite role in Milpitas, CA, with pay of $20–$25 per hour. The role supports Big O Tires’ automotive service work. The technician services tires and wheels and performs related maintenance to help keep customer vehicles in working order. Duties include tire work, fluid services, oil changes, battery installation, inventory stocking, and post-service test drives.

What you'll do

• Mount and dismount, repair, rotate, and inflate tires and install wheels
• perform fluid services, fluid exchanges, oil changes, flushes, and maintenance
• calibrate TPMS
• stock inventory
• test and install batteries
• test-drive vehicles after maintenance. Requires a valid driver’s license, tire mounting/balancing and repair experience, and availability for weekends, holidays, and after-hours work as needed.
