Bilingual Mental Health Therapist

The Bilingual Mental Health Therapist role is hybrid in Hyattsville, MD. Compensation is $60,000 annually, with final salary determined by weekly session commitment. The therapist supports Synergy Family Services’ community-based Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) program. The therapist manages an assigned caseload and provides individual and family therapy while coordinating care, monitoring engagement and progress, and maintaining timely clinical documentation. The role helps ensure continuity of care and supports clients’ treatment goals through collaboration with internal teams and community partners.

What you'll do

• Provide individual and family therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and person-centered approaches
• assess needs, strengths, risks, diagnoses, functioning, and progress
• develop measurable treatment goals and interventions
• monitor attendance and conduct documented outreach when clients miss expected service frequency
• coordinate care with supervisors and internal or external partners
• respond to safety concerns and complete risk assessments and safety plans
• maintain clinical records and complete documentation within agency deadlines
• participate in supervision, training, and required meetings.
