The Transportation Construction Inspector — All Levels, NOVA District role is onsite in Herndon, VA, and surrounding areas. Compensation is $20.00–$53.16 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications; overtime and an annual bonus are also available. The role supports ATCS’s expanding Construction Services group in Virginia on transportation construction projects.

What you'll do

• Inspect highway, bridge, environmental, traffic, and facilities projects
• write daily progress reports
• oversee contractor work for compliance with contract documents and safe construction practices
• perform field tests on concrete, soil, and hot-mix asphalt
• document materials, labor compliance, safety, estimates, work orders, and adjustments
• report site activity and progress to the Project Engineer
• and calculate and determine pay quantities.
