Manufacturing Technician / Laser Welder

The Manufacturing Technician / Laser Welder role is onsite in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Pay is $22–$30 per hour. The position supports Applied Energy Systems’ Apex Precision Division, which provides precision welding services to the medical device industry. The technician operates automated laser welding equipment to assemble and join small instruments, devices, and components. The work supports production quality through procedure compliance, component preparation, weld finishing, inspection, and testing.

What you'll do

• Operate automatic laser welding equipment
• follow ISO 13485 procedures and company safety and process requirements
• use project documentation to meet workmanship and production standards
• position and clamp components for welding
• clean and finish welds
• perform visual, tensile, and microscopic testing
• safely operate manufacturing tools and equipment
• coordinate with team members for component and equipment resources.
