The Commercial Driver’s License B Driver — VAC/Box Truck Night Shift role is onsite at the Tonawanda, NY depot. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with five eight-hour nights per week; shifts may extend to 16 hours as needed under DOT requirements. Starting pay is $35 per hour for the first 40 hours, with time and a half over 40 hours. Buffalo Biodiesel collects and recycles used cooking oil to produce biodiesel. The driver operates VAC and/or box trucks and performs related collection and equipment-handling work. The role supports the company’s used-oil collection and recycling operations and requires a valid CDL B, current DOT physical, Interstate and Tanker (N) endorsements, and a safe driving record.

What you'll do

• Operate VAC trucks to collect oil from containers using a PTO pump and hoses
• operate box trucks to drop off, swap, or remove equipment using drum carts and/or pallet jacks
• perform driving and labor duties as needed.
