Junior IT Operations Specialist

The Junior IT Operations Specialist works onsite in Austin, TX, and compensation is $20 per hour. The role supports Texas Sports Academy’s IT Operations Manager and campus technology operations. Texas Sports Academy serves K–12 student-athletes through academics and athletic development. The specialist helps prepare and deploy school devices, manage device inventory and shipments, process returns, and provide first-line support to students and staff. Accurate records and timely troubleshooting help keep the device program and campus technology running.

What you'll do

• Assist with imaging and preparing MacBook Neos, installing standard software, applying MDM profiles, configuring accounts, and applying security settings
• receive shipments and log serial numbers
• maintain inventory
• pack and ship laptops
• process returned, damaged, and end-of-life devices
• wipe and reimage devices for redeployment when possible
• provide first-line user support and escalate issues
• maintain device tracking, ticket notes, and documentation.
