Millwright Mechanic

Job overview

The Millwright Mechanic role is onsite in Kermit, TX, and pays $60 per hour. Wallstreet Sand Co. produces wet and dry frac sand for the Permian Basin oil and gas industry. The mechanic maintains and repairs machinery at the sand mine and plant to support safe, reliable operations. What you'll do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, feeders, pumps, and gearboxes
• inspect malfunctioning equipment and diagnose vibration or unusual noises
• conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections
• complete hazard assessments and follow MSHA and OSHA regulations
• align rotating equipment, shafts, motors, and couplings
• perform cutting, grinding, and welding repairs
• use hoists, cranes, winches, and rigging gear to move heavy components.

Why this role
