Quality Technician — Medical Device Validation

The Quality Technician — Medical Device Validation role is onsite in Fremont, CA; compensation is $30–$35 per hour. The position supports Aviso’s engineering validation team at its San Jose facility. The technician executes laboratory verification and validation protocols, sets up test fixtures, records performance data, and supports engineering investigations and prototype studies. The role helps maintain test procedures and compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485 standards, and internal quality systems.

What you'll do

• Run functional, reliability, and system-level verification and validation protocols
• assemble and align test fixtures, mechanical rigs, and samples
• record and report performance data in accordance with the Quality Management System
• document test anomalies and support root-cause failure analysis
• collaborate with research and development teams on prototypes and engineering studies
• review and provide feedback on test procedures and laboratory methods
• ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and internal quality systems.
