The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) — Senior Living role is an onsite, full-time position in Moyock, NC. Compensation is $10–$16 per hour. At Currituck House, PCAs support residents’ well-being and help create a safe, comfortable community where seniors can thrive. The PCA provides direct support with daily living activities while promoting residents’ dignity, comfort, and independence. The role also supports health monitoring, resident engagement, and a safe living environment in coordination with the nursing team.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, meals, feeding, hydration, hygiene, and comfort
• observe and report changes in health, behavior, or physical condition to the nursing team
• provide medication reminders and monitor for adverse reactions
• encourage participation in activities and social events
• maintain clean, organized, and safe living areas
• follow infection-control and safety procedures
• respond to emergencies according to established procedures.

Why this role
