What you'll do

• Maintain and set up the extrusion line
• troubleshoot machine and material issues
• perform screen changes and prepare for changeovers
• assign lot numbers
• follow safety procedures and wear PPE
• locate work orders and specification sheets and determine required materials
• adjust, calibrate, and test equipment at shift start
• visually inspect, weigh, and measure components and adjust equipment as needed
• communicate equipment problems and work with team members and supervisors
• clean and maintain equipment
• repair equipment and replace defective or worn components
• select and install cutters, molds, and other machine parts.
