What you'll do

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct activity department operations in compliance with applicable standards
• maintain activities that support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being
• assess recreational needs
• develop and implement individualized therapeutic recreation programs
• follow evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines
• recruit, hire, and train recreation staff
• assist with the recreation budget
• promote programs through community engagement
• arrange off-site activities as needed
• develop and supervise volunteers.
