Refueling Technician

Job overview

The Refueling Technician role is onsite at disaster response locations in Texas, with pay of $19–$20 per hour. These seasonal positions support The Workforce Group’s emergency fueling team during disaster response efforts. The technician helps deliver fuel safely and efficiently to vehicles, generators, and other equipment in affected areas. The work supports emergency logistics through fuel dispensing, equipment readiness, accurate records, and coordination with the operations team.

What you'll do

• Operate fuel dispensing equipment
• assist with dispensing fuel from tanker trucks
• measure and record fuel dispensed
• follow fuel-handling procedures to prevent spills and accidents
• inspect and maintain dispensing equipment
• identify mechanical issues and coordinate repairs
• comply with safety and environmental requirements
• help set up temporary fuel stations
• maintain delivery, usage, and inventory records
• coordinate fuel distribution with logistics
• report status and submit daily activity reports
• respond to emergency callouts and be available for short-notice deployment.

Why this role
