Engineering Project Manager

The Engineering Project Manager role is onsite in Portland, OR, with work in a professional office and at active construction sites; compensation is $120,000–$130,000 per year. IFG delivers integrated engineering, procurement, and construction solutions for complex industrial and advanced manufacturing projects. The role leads engineering scope, technical integrity, and execution for assigned EPC projects, partnering with the Project Manager on overall delivery. It ensures engineering work is safe, compliant, constructible, and aligned with project cost and schedule objectives.

What you'll do

• Plan and control basic and detailed engineering
• select and validate design concepts, technologies, and materials
• lead multidisciplinary engineering teams
• manage engineering scope, schedule, and staffing
• monitor progress and costs
• support technical change management
• serve as technical contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors
• review vendor documentation
• support procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup
• participate in field reviews
• support safety, quality, and constructability reviews
• and mentor engineers and designers.

Why this role
