The Registered Nurse (RN) Regional MDS Coordinator role is onsite in Cincinnati, OH, with regular travel throughout the Cincinnati region. Compensation is not specified. CCH Healthcare’s regional leadership team supports resident care and clinical and financial performance across its skilled nursing facilities. This role provides multi-facility leadership for MDS operations, reimbursement performance, and regulatory compliance. Through audits, assessment reviews, staff education, and process improvement, the coordinator supports facility teams in improving resident outcomes and reimbursement accuracy.

What you'll do

• Oversee MDS and reimbursement operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities
• conduct facility audits and review MDS assessments, care plans, documentation, transmission reports, and reimbursement outcomes
• monitor PDPM, Case Mix Index, quality measures, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and revenue integrity
• mentor and train facility teams
• support survey readiness and corrective action plans
• analyze trends and lead process improvement initiatives.

Why this role

Requires prior regional MDS, clinical reimbursement, or RAI leadership overseeing multiple skilled nursing facilities, at least five years of MDS/RAI experience, and an active Ohio RN license.
