Remington & Vernick Engineers seeks a planner with municipal and regional planning experience to support clients and municipalities on land use, zoning, and community development work. The planner prepares and reviews studies, reports, applications, plans, and ordinances, and provides technical guidance to clients and municipalities. The role also supports public meetings and hearings and helps clients address development, zoning, housing, and redevelopment matters.

What you'll do

• Represent clients and attend evening meetings
• draft development review letters
• prepare and update comprehensive and master plans and reexamination reports
• review and recommend zoning amendments and rezonings
• prepare housing element and fair-share plans
• prepare redevelopment investigations and plans
• draft development-control ordinances and regulations
• conduct research for municipal clients.
