Business Development Manager

Job overview

The Business Development Manager role is onsite in East Syracuse, NY, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is not specified. The role works with HR One’s sales team to support sales and client service goals for payroll, recruitment, and human resource consulting services. The manager develops prospects and client relationships through inbound and outbound sales activity, qualifies leads, schedules appointments, and closes sales opportunities. The work supports company growth and client service through follow-up, accurate tracking, reporting, and cross-selling to existing clients.

• Make outbound sales calls and follow up on inbound leads
• generate qualified leads and sales appointments
• qualify and educate prospects

• meet or exceed sales quotas
• track prospects and communications in Zoho CRM
• respond to client inquiries
• prepare sales reports
• cross-sell services to existing clients.
