Medical Assistant I

The Medical Assistant I role is onsite in Red Lodge, MT. Pay is $17.51–$18.21 per hour. The position supports patient care at Beartooth Billings Clinic and reports to the Clinic Manager. The role assists with patient care and treatment while providing clerical and administrative support. It works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other department personnel to address patients’ and families’ physical, psychosocial, educational, and spiritual needs.

What you'll do

• Assist in delivery of patient care and treatment
• provide clerical and administrative support
• collaborate with physicians, non-physician providers, nurses, and departmental personnel
• complete department orientation and skills competencies
• complete required HealthStream modules or qualifying medical terminology coursework
• complete additional department requirements for basic intramuscular injections when applicable.
