The Sustainability Waste Lead role is onsite in Boise, ID. The stated base salary range is $111,000–$190,000 per year. The role supports waste and sustainability programs across Micron’s Fab4 TD/HVM and Fab20 operations. The lead develops site-wide approaches to reduce waste and increase reuse, recycling, recovery, and landfill diversion. By managing compliance, service partnerships, performance data, and improvement projects, the role advances sustainability while supporting operational and cost objectives.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement waste reduction, reuse, recycling, recovery, and landfill-diversion strategies
• lead waste characterization, forecasting, and planning
• ensure compliance with waste regulations, permits, policies, and reporting
• manage waste-service partnerships and disposal pathways
• collaborate with facilities, manufacturing, engineering, construction, and procurement
• analyze performance data and develop metrics and dashboards
• lead waste-handling and resource-recovery projects
• apply AI and analytics to improve program performance.

Why this role
