Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

Job overview

The Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician role is an onsite, full-time position based in Greensboro, NC, with local travel within a 2.5-hour radius of the technician’s residence; pay is $28–$38 per hour. DOC Services provides commercial equipment and facility solutions to its partners. The technician maintains and repairs commercial HVAC units and light commercial refrigeration equipment, troubleshooting electrical and electronic components and communicating service updates. The role helps keep customer equipment operating safely and reliably through preventive maintenance and repair work.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC units and light commercial refrigeration equipment
• troubleshoot electrical and electronic components
• remove defective parts using hand and power tools
• provide daily reports and communicate with store managers, supervisors, and office administrators
• follow OSHA and company safety regulations
• maintain company vehicles and parts inventory.
