Team Leader — Restaurant Opening and Operations

Job overview

The Team Leader role is onsite in Belvidere, IL, with pay of $16.45–$18.45 per hour. The position supports restaurant opening, food preparation, and front-line guest service at Sbarro’s Belvidere Tollway Oasis location. The role exists to help prepare the restaurant for daily operations and provide service across assigned stations as business needs require. It supports consistent guest service, food safety, sanitation, and teamwork while assisting with restaurant production and operations.

What you'll do

• Open the restaurant and supervise team members preparing for daily operations until the opening manager arrives
• serve guests and handle transactions according to procedures
• prepare pizza and other food products using recipe and safety standards
• maintain product knowledge
• clean, stock, and sanitize work areas
• follow food safety, temperature, and cost-control procedures
• assist other team members as needed. The Team Leader does not handle cash or access safe funds during opening duties.
