The Clinic Liaison role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA, with compensation of $22–$23.16 per hour. The Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Health Services department provides free or low-cost services and works to help LGBTQ people lead healthier lives. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The liaison supports clinic operations and client access by rotating among front desk, medical records, and phone stations. The role welcomes clients, schedules appointments, handles payments and records, checks insurance eligibility, and provides administrative support while following confidentiality procedures.

What you'll do

• Implement Business Office procedures
• rotate among Front Desk, Medical Records, and Phones
• greet clients
• check in patients and schedule appointments
• record and reconcile payments
• maintain schedules
• check insurance eligibility and complete Medi-Cal reservations for care
• maintain and route medical records
• process outside record requests confidentially
• cover clinic phones and provide service information
• train and work with clerical volunteers as needed
• perform administrative functions and attend staff meetings and training.
