Job overview

The Certified Recreational Therapist Specialist (CTRS) role is onsite in Bloomington, IN, with work in client homes, the community, and outpatient offices. Compensation is $26–$28 per hour. Supportive Community Innovations provides services for people with autism, developmental differences, and behavioral or mental health concerns. The therapist designs and delivers recreational therapy programming tailored to each client’s needs. What you'll do

  • Design and implement recreational therapy programming in conjunction with NCTRC and Indiana Medicaid Waiver requirements
  • work in client homes, the community, and outpatient offices
  • adapt activities to clients’ physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs
  • document progress, participation, and outcomes
  • follow evidence-based practices and confidentiality standards.
