The purpose of this role is to perform nuclear medicine and PET CT exams, document patient information, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and maintain quality control and radiation safety.

What you'll do

• Document patient information, present correct information for interpretation.
• Perform all aspects of radiopharmaceutical preparation for scintigraphy, bioassay, and therapeutic procedures and disposes of radioactive trash.
• Perform imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Record Quality Control and radiation monitoring.
• Operate electronic information system.
• Maintain appropriate supplies and a clean working environment.
• Participate in continuing education.
• Adhere to facility ICARE values.
• Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments.
• Prepare education the patient on discharge instructions.
• Demonstrate ability to perform technical skills and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable in the handling of radioactive materials.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development.
• Properly measure radioactive waste and know how to dispose of it properly.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology or Nuclear Medicine

Experience

One year experience in Nuclear Medicine
