Maintenance Technician — First Shift

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Kennesaw, GA. Compensation is $29–$35 per hour. The position supports Dessert Holdings’ manufacturing operations and production of premium desserts. The technician maintains and repairs production equipment to reduce unplanned downtime and support safe, reliable product manufacturing. The role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment documentation, and collaboration with operators, engineering, and area teams.

What you'll do

• Identify and repair electrical and mechanical defects
• complete preventive maintenance plans and reliability tasks
• troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and rebuild equipment
• participate in root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
• train operators on maintenance techniques when needed
• document work in the CMMS
• disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning and test safe operation
• install, align, and adjust mechanical power transmission components
• follow safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
