Social Service Director

The Social Service Director role is onsite in Richmond, VA, with a stated schedule of 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Pay is $28–$35 per hour. The role supports the Social Services Department at a skilled nursing community, whose stated purpose is to provide care that meets residents’ needs. The director helps ensure residents’ medically related emotional and social needs are met and maintained. The role plans, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs the department’s ongoing social services program in accordance with applicable standards, regulations, and facility policies, supporting each resident’s psychosocial well-being.

What you'll do

• Plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Skilled Nursing community’s Social Services Department
• ensure residents’ medically related emotional and social needs are met and maintained individually
• ensure an ongoing social service program is designed to support each resident’s psychosocial well-being in accordance with comprehensive assessments and applicable standards, guidelines, regulations, and policies.
