Substance Abuse Counselor

The Substance Abuse Counselor role is onsite in Johnston, RI, with pay of $24–$29 per hour plus a bonus structure. What you'll do

• Provide individual and group counseling for people recovering from drug and alcohol disorders
• guide new and returning patients through intake and orientation
• connect patients with community resources
• follow up on referrals
• develop and maintain treatment plans and patient records
• assess patient needs
• respond to crisis situations and complete required documentation
• comply with regulatory requirements.
