The Machinist Lead — CNC Turning role is onsite in Orlando, FL, on the first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Compensation is $37–$49 per hour. Daniels Manufacturing Corporation makes tooling and technology for mission-critical electrical systems used in industries including aerospace, defense, transportation, and telecommunications. The lead supports daily CNC turning production and serves as a technical resource on the shop floor. The role helps ensure precision, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery by troubleshooting machining issues, optimizing programs and processes, inspecting parts, and guiding machinists.

What you'll do

• Lead daily workflow in the CNC Turning Center
• set up and operate CNC turning centers
• program, edit, troubleshoot, and optimize G- and M-code programs
• conduct first-article inspections
• select and manage cutting tools
• collaborate with Engineering and Production
• maintain tight tolerances
• inspect parts with precision instruments and CMM equipment as required
• coordinate shift handoffs
• maintain a safe and organized work area.
