Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant role is onsite in Floyds Knobs, IN. Compensation is $50,000–$60,000 per year. The position supports Lambs Lawn Service and Landscaping and its sister-company operations, a local service business with more than 13 daily field crews. The accountant maintains accurate financial records, supports close processes, and prepares reporting that helps management assess financial performance and make decisions. The role also supports accounting integrity across multiple entities as the business grows.

What you'll do

• Prepare and record monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries
• reconcile bank, credit-card, and general-ledger accounts
• support physical inventory audits
• complete month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and adjustments
• maintain fixed-asset schedules
• review accounts payable and receivable and process payments as needed
• and prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and operational summaries.
