Toy Designer

Job overview

The Toy Designer role is onsite in Monroe, LA, with a salary range of $40,000–$80,000 per year. The role joins Nuby’s product development team to design toys and other consumer products for babies, toddlers, and children. The designer develops product concepts from initial ideas through production, using sketches, 3D models, renderings, prototypes, and design specifications to communicate product intent and address usability, materials, manufacturing, and cost considerations.

What you'll do

• Develop product concepts through production
• create sketches, digital concepts, and presentation drawings
• create and modify 3D models and renderings
• develop product forms, colors, patterns, and details
• prepare specifications and design drawings
• research products and trends
• review prototypes and samples
• revise designs based on feedback and manufacturing requirements
• collaborate with product development, engineering, and manufacturing partners.
