The Early Childhood Teacher role is onsite in Eureka, MO. Compensation is $17–$21 per hour. First Adventures Academy is a family-owned and operated childcare program focused on children’s learning and development. The teacher leads a classroom by planning age-appropriate learning experiences, supporting children’s development, and building relationships with families. The role also guides assistant teachers and volunteers and maintains a safe, welcoming classroom that follows licensing standards and center policies.

What you'll do

• Create engaging activities grounded in early childhood best practices
• plan age-appropriate experiences that support social, emotional, and cognitive development
• lead classroom culture and support the classroom team
• communicate with families through daily conversations, progress updates, and conferences
• follow licensing standards and center policies
• maintain a safe, clean, welcoming environment
• guide assistant teachers and volunteers
• keep records accurate and current
• and participate in ongoing learning and training.
