Job overview

The Buyer role is an onsite, full-time position in Necedah, WI. Compensation is $25–$32 per hour. The buyer reports to the Materials Manager and purchases materials and services to support Mitotec Precision’s production. The role helps maintain production continuity and on-time delivery by managing purchase orders, supplier communication, expediting, and coordination with scheduling, inventory, receiving, and quality teams. It also supports sourcing, cost savings, and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Purchase raw materials, components, tooling, MRO supplies, and outside services
• create and maintain ERP purchase orders
• confirm pricing, dates, terms, and requirements
• coordinate outside processing and required certifications
• work with scheduling, inventory, receiving, and quality to prevent shortages
• expedite orders and resolve past-due items
• address receiving discrepancies and invoice issues
• coordinate inbound freight as needed.

Why this role

A two-year degree is preferred, with equivalent education and experience considered. Manufacturing purchasing experience and steel industry knowledge are preferred or a plus as described.
