SQL / Progress Database Administrator

The SQL / Progress Database Administrator is an onsite role in Mequon, WI, with compensation of $80,000–$105,000 per year. The position supports ISCorp’s secure private cloud infrastructure and application hosting environments, serving internal users and external clients. The role exists to maintain reliable, performant, secure database platforms that support hosted services and internal operations. It administers database systems and related infrastructure, resolves issues, and maintains recovery and operational documentation.

What you'll do

• Administer Microsoft SQL Server and Progress OpenEdge environments
• install, configure, and upgrade Progress OpenEdge across Linux and Windows
• perform database maintenance and integrity checks
• maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies
• monitor and tune performance
• support Windows Server and Linux systems
• manage database security and access controls
• develop automation scripts
• support database integrations with application servers and hosting platforms
• troubleshoot performance issues
• maintain technical documentation
• participate in on-call rotations and respond to alerts as needed.
