What you'll do

• Sort and rack specimens
• pick up and deliver specimens to the laboratory
• store specimens
• perform centrifugation and aliquoting
• identify and resolve or forward issues involving specimen types or missing information
• research test-order information using translation tables, computer systems, and the directory of services
• complete written documentation
• maintain a neat work area and follow safety, compliance, and work-process policies.
