What you'll do

• Prepare drawings and submittals
• attend pre-construction meetings and contribute to project mobilization
• set up estimates before bids
• review drawings and specifications to determine scope
• perform take-offs for materials, subcontract work, and labor
• prepare final estimates, budgets, and bid prices
• attend planning and pre-construction meetings for awarded projects
• review construction documents for changes and prepare major change-order requests when applicable
• prepare estimates and proposals for extra work or time-and-material billings
• prepare sheet-metal drawings and quantities for fabrication
• issue change orders
• assist with bond requirements
• ensure proposals and contracts are processed and provide billing information to accounting.
