The Civil Design Technician – Site Design/Municipal role is onsite in Crete, NE. Compensation is not specified. Olsson’s Site Design team provides design services for land development projects, including mixed-use, commercial, residential, industrial, sports, and school sites. The technician prepares planning and design documents and calculations that support project delivery. The role contributes to the team’s design work through computer-aided drafting, project documentation, and updates to plans and models, with supervisor guidance and approval.

What you'll do

• Assist with computer-aided design tasks such as annotation, redline corrections, and plan publishing
• use design software to draft plans and update models
• gather data and maintain project files
• prepare drawing copies and document design changes
• add content to production sheets
• may direct less experienced staff, attend client meetings, or conduct construction observation as needed
• may work on sites in varied terrain and weather.
