The Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) is an onsite role based in Loves Park, IL. Compensation is specified as $159,000.00 to $182,000.00 per year, supporting the Byron Nuclear Power Station operations team. This role exists to train and prepare candidates to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor. Upon successful completion of the Initial License Training (ILT) program, the individual will be licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to supervise licensed activities in the reactor control room and oversee equipment operators.

What you'll do

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training
• successfully complete all phases of training to obtain an SRO license
• perform duties as an Operations Shift Supervisor
• support emergency response and outage activities.
