What you'll do

• Review menus and event calendars
• prepare meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines
• serve portions appropriately
• assist with special-event meals
• manage portions and leftovers to reduce waste
• follow sanitation, food-safety, storage, recordkeeping, and chemical-handling requirements
• operate kitchen equipment safely
• maintain clean and organized cooler and freezer spaces
• complete daily cleaning assignments.
